Wonderful large play area. There's a small dog and a large dog area. The dog beach is closed off that way If you don't want your dog in there they don't have to. The people are great there from my experience.

My 2 dogs love the interaction with the other dogs. Big fenced in place for them to run and a separate fenced area for the dogs to swim. If your dog gets muddy they also have a station near the exit with clean water to spray your dog off. All we have to say is "puppy park?" and our dogs go crazy. They truly love it here. Clean place overall minus the few people who can't pick up their dog's mess but it's not enough to where it's an issue. Mainly it's in the part where people don't go anyway but we like to walk around the whole pond so we get exercise too.

great place to socialize dogs. liked the separation fences. would be alot better if the dead fish were removed daily.

My dog loves it here. There is a ton of space for running around and it is great for her on a hot day since she can go swimming in the pond. Not so great for us humans, as there is no shade to speak of and very few places to sit, none of which are in the shade. I have also noticed a few dead smelt floating in the pond near the shoreline by the tree that grows on the water, but I never expected that water to be clean anyway, so I'll keep letting my dog swim there. My one complaint is the shade issue. A few awnings and planting a few non-nut bearing shade trees would make the place perfect. There is enough space that the dogs are able to run if anyone gets too rough, so aggression is minimal, and there is enough to sniff and explore that they don't get bored and want to wrestle constantly. My dog loves to wrestle and at smaller dog parks she will spend the entire time trying to find dogs to play fight with her, which had lead to her becoming aggressive when meeting new dogs. Since bringing her here she has resorted to her usual sweet self. She still wants to play, but when the other dog shows they aren't interested she will back off again, rather than keep escalating until they are actually afraid and try to defend themselves. (Which she would think was great fun, and the other poor thing would absolutely hate .) So yeah, this park is great for the wide open spaces and the opportunity to swim. We would come every day if it weren't 40 minutes each way.

This dog park is the best one around. So much room. The pond is sweet, if I can get my dogs to go in it. The only negative side is that there are people that don't know how to be responsible and pick up after their dogs.
